Most actions in Assets work on a selection: downloading, moving, sharing, adding to a Collection. Here is how to build a selection.
Selecting files
- Click a file to select it.
- Drag your mouse pointer over several files to select them all. This is called lasso select.
- Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (macOS) and click files to add or remove them one by one.
- Press Ctrl+A (Windows) or Cmd+A (macOS) to select all files. This selects a maximum of 1000 files, and works in the search results and in Collections.
Removing files from a selection
- Hold Shift while using the lasso, or while using the arrow keys.
- Hold Ctrl or Cmd and click a selected file.
- Press Shift+Alt+A to deselect everything.
- Click an empty area in the search results.
Limits to know
A maximum of 1000 files can be selected at a time for actions such as moving and copying. Only one folder at a time can be selected in the Folder browser.
